Risk management in the regency road improvement projects in Buleleng regency

Abstract The largest district in Bali Province is Buleleng Regency with an area of approximately 24.25 percent the total Province. To facilitate activities community all fields, adequate road construction needed. Public Works and Spatial Planning Office carries out a improvement project every year to improve conditions from unstable condition stable condition. implementation projects can cause various risks so it necessary conduct research for risk management stages identifying risks, formulating dominant mitigation actions, determining ownership analyzing impact on potential cost time losses Regency. method was carried by compiling distributing questionnaires, brainstorming, focus group discussions. Respondents were selected using purposive sampling method, namely respondent determination consideration that had competence experience number identified this study 40 31 (77.50%) being risk. results formulation actions against obtained 47 actions. Ownership most (28 risks) responsibility contractor. category example poor material quality affects work measures, ensuring sent supplier matches sample meets required specifications increase IDR. 707.569.114,60 additional 11 days.
